Free Holiday Yoga Days!
The holiday season can be very hectic, which is why it’s so important to invest in yourself.
Amazing community association yoga instructor Judy Chan will be offering free
yoga classes this December and January!
She explains that “It’s a great time to try yoga or to continue your yoga practice. Yoga
helps you refocus and take you away from the hustle of the holiday.”
An HHCA, long-term instructor, Judy’s classes are quite popular and well-received.
Many of her students have become regulars enjoying the approachable, friendly, and welcoming environment she creates.
“My classes are unique because every class is built on safe and creative sequencing. Students know that when they are practicing with me, they will be safe. They will be provided
with modifications, and they will learn to listen and be aware of their body. There’s
no judgment from anyone – especially yourself”
Gift yourself with some “me” time.
Try out a variety of styles including:
- Slow & Strong: Sync movements and breath with Hatha-style yoga.
- Flow: Create a steady rhythm with cardiovascular flow style yoga.
- Yin / Yang: A slower practice building strength and flexibility.
The free classes are a great opportunity for beginners, with no equipment or experience required.
To get the most out of your trial, Judy recommends setting the following intentions. “Be open-minded. Be gentle with yourself, even the most seasoned yogis fall out of their tree pose. And always try!”
“I hope the participants feel like they have done something good for their body and mind. It really is all about self-care.”
