PLAY HUB

WEDNESDAYS 2 TO 5:30 P.M.

Onsite play ambassador Cabri Boechler says the project gives families the opportunity to try out the free play method while getting active. She says it “also creates a space where families can relax, get outside, and really let kids be kids.”

Local parent Raquel Wells encourages other families to stop by. She says the play hub is a great way for her kids “to play not in front of a screen, to be creative, and to meet new friends.”

Every week a variety of free materials are supplied, called loose parts, for the kids to use, create, and experiment with. All ages are welcome to join in on the fun, with Huntington Hills Out of School Care friends also usually out to play as well from 4 p.m. on. Learn more about Vivo Play Project.

Craft Café

WEDNESDAYS 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.

“Our goal is to create an environment where parents can meet other parents and children can have the space to be messy and have fun!”

Program co-creator Brook Viola
