Pick up a few items at our outdoor pet market and enjoy a refreshing drink with your best bark buddy on the Boston Pizza Beddington pup friendly patio from 2 to 4 p.m., with day of Screaming Toller purchases proceeds going towards Parachutes for Pets!

Community Safety & Well-being Expo
August 30, 2022

Learn, engage, and empower! Take part in the conversation surrounding community safety and well-being in Highland Park, Huntington Hills, and Thorncliffe-Greenview

Participate online and join us on August 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 520 – 78 Ave NW – as we host various information opportunities with local partners working to support our area and abroad.

Come and grab a Mini Donut Canada or Ubuntu Pies food truck item starting at 3:30 p.m. and learn how you too can contribute to more resilient communities! All ages welcome with family-friendly outdoor activities onsite.  

Hosted by the area’s community associations, as well as the City of Calgary’s Community Social Work Program and Neighbourhood Connections, the event will feature representatives from North Central Family Resource Network – Closer to Home, Calgary Police Service, Calgary Transit, Calgary Fire Department, Calgary Parks, Alberta Health Services/EMS, Alpha House Society, Age-Friendly Calgary, Calgary Bylaw Services, and Calgary Emergency Management Agency

Along with various resources and engagements onsite, August 30 will also host a safety & well-being moderated guest panel starting at 4:15 p.m.
